*Lazer’s Pizza

For something a little more laid back but yummy, you won’t want to miss Lazer’s Pizza. Just down the road from the Front Desk, it’s hard to beat the convenient location when you’re staying at Plantation Resort (without eating at one of the Resort’s own wonderful food venues). They make everything from pizzas to subs to pasta. And they deliver to the Resort too, just in case you decide on a romantic evening in your condo.  For the adventurous, we recommend the Albanian Pizza for a unique take on pizza you won’t find anywhere else.  Be sure to mention you’re staying at Plantation Resort where our guests receive a 10% discount on their order.

The Melting Pot

Just 20 minutes North of the Resort, the Melting Pot is one of the most popular date spots on the Grand Strand. The fondue restaurant offers a shared experience in a meal with a fondue dipping that can be capped with a chocolate fondue. Head a little further south for a great Southern dining experience. You’ll feel like family the moment you’re seated and the quality food will have you begging for more. They offer a different special every day and Sunday (Valentine’s Day) you’ll want to ask for the fried chicken special. It comes with mashed potatoes, gravy, coleslaw and a drink, all at a discounted price. Of course, Monday is “Date Night” so you may want to extend your Valentine’s experience another day. Whether it be steaks, seafood or some of the best salads in town, California Dreaming has something for all tastes and is just around the corner from Plantation Resort.  The nachos are one of the more popular appetizers before a pleasing meal, and the bar has all the quenching drinks from wine, cocktails and beers.  There is a large selection of sweet tooth satisfying desserts that are the perfect way to end a romantic meal.

*Malibu of Surfside

What’s more romantic than winning your way into someone’s heart through Italian food? Malibu of Surfside’s cozy restaurant inspires romance—the lighting, decorations and, of course, the food emit a beautiful atmosphere that will set the mood for Valentine’s Day. After dinner take a short trip down Surfside Drive and enjoy a romantic walk on the beach. Plantation Resort guests enjoy a 10% discount at Malibu of Surfside.

Croissants Bistro and Bakery

Croissants offers everything from coffee and espresso drinks to homemade soups, sandwiches and baked delicacies to fine dining and catering. Take a short drive to discover their large glass case displaying the day’s desserts and goodies welcome you as you enter through the main doors. Paintings from local artists adorn the walls, creating a romantic and inviting atmosphere. Croissants has a patio where you can dine and enjoy the warm weather and crisp ocean air.  Needless to say, Croissants is perfect for your Valentine’s Day plans.
