Hot diggity dog! Any way you cook it, this all-American meat treat is due to be celebrated July 19, National Hot Dog Day.
Fun fact: the holiday was originally established by the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council in 1991 to coordinate with a hot dog lunch held on Capitol Hill every year on the third Wednesday in July. And this year, we invite you to properly take part in the food’s festivities, which is why we’re sharing with you a list of some of our favorite local hot dog hotspots.
