Fun fact: the holiday was originally established by the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council in 1991 to coordinate with a hot dog lunch held on Capitol Hill every year on the third Wednesday in July. And this year, we invite you to properly take part in the food’s festivities, which is why we’re sharing with you a list of some of our favorite local hot dog hotspots.

This family-owned diner has been a Myrtle Beach landmark since 1937. Take your dog on a walk with a dash of salt air on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, steps away from their walk-up order counter.
