Choose from a variety of ingredients and sauces and create your very own pasta dish! Plenty of pastabilities are crafted and made fresh for all guests during the Prime Rib & Pasta Dinner. Freshly made hot prime rib and pasta make for a perfect dinner duo. Age 3 and under eat free at the Pasta Station. Tickets must be purchased by 5 pm Wednesday.

26th Annual St. John’s Greek Festival

Brookgreen Gardens: Harvest Home Weekend Festival

Brookgreen Gardens has everyone’s favorite activities such as hay rides, scarecrow building, pumpkin painting, entertainment and food served under a big tent. Discover keepsakes, the Brookgreen Shop, artisan potters and sweetgrass basket-makers along with gourmet food samplings, book signings, and more. In the Lowcountry Zoo area, there are additional hayrides, kids’ temporary tattoos, a snack tent, and special craft and take-home activities just for kids. You’ll find wool spinning demonstrations, sidewalk chalking, and the butterfly house will be open all day with some new butterflies just for the fall season.

Surfrider’s Lip-Rippin’ Chilympics Chili Cook Off

The 18th Annual Lip-Rippin’ Chilympics Chili Cook Off draws thousands of residents and visitors to raise money for the Grand Strand Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, and has become a staple of Grand Strand events. This year’s benefit, free and open to the public, begins at noon with chili samples available to purchase from over 40 area self-proclaimed “Chilimasters.” Competitive categories for this year are: Best Overall, Best Restaurant, People’s Choice, Hottest, Most Original, Best Vegetarian, Best Theme and Best Use of South Carolina Products. In addition to trying some of the most inventive chili recipes, people come for the music, art, local crafts and vendors.
