Savor the sweet sips of succulent wines at La Belle Amie Vineyard located in Little River just 30 miles North. La Belle Amie Vineyard Tour & Wine Tasting is one of our most popular summer events! Inlet Boat Parade
Thursday, July 4
Don’t miss this annual Inlet patriotic tradition! Big boats, small boats, colorful boats and boats that shoot you with water. You’ll find an array of floating vessels all along the MarshWalk, celebrating the 4th of July. The boat parade begins from Garden City Point at 9 am; high tide and winds through the Inlet, past the MarshWalk and south to Morse Park Landing. The parade floats over to the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk and then follows the Murrells Inlet shoreline down to the Hot Fish Club. Best public viewing points are the Marsh Walk, Belin Methodist Church, Nance’s Restaurant, King Street Grille, Jetty View Walk and the Hot Fish Club.

Pawleys Island 4th of July Parade

The Fourth of July Parade on Pawleys Island is a fun-filled community event. Visitors and locals alike parade down the Island in anything that becomes a makeshift float – be it a boat, car, or flatbed truck! All of which are decorated in red, white, and blue ~ true patriotic fashion! The Pawleys Island Parade is a fun, family tradition that’s perfect for your July 4th celebration.

8th Annual Croissants Bakery Cupcake Eating Contest
Thursday, July 4
Competition participants, 18 years and older, are invited to “have their cake and eat it, too!” during this cupcake eating marathon. Contestants have five minutes to eat as many cupcakes as they can, beginning at 11:30 am. Additional entertainment includes music, face painting, cupcake decorating, carnival games, food trucks and more! Featuring local celebrity judges. Proceeds benefiting Help4Kids and Backpack Buddies.

The Market Common: Independence Day 5K
Thursday, July 4
This is one of the largest races in the Myrtle Beach area and the area’s only Independence Day Race! Choose from the 5K and a 1-mile race. The race is through the scenic Market Common region of Myrtle Beach and features highlights of the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. Participants receive a high-quality race shirt and a post-race breakfast from Bojangles.
