Plantation Resort is Now Open
We’re happy to say goodbye to Hurricane Dorian and say hello to Plantation Resort guests! With winds over 110 miles an hour and having dropped 10 inches of rain, Hurricane Dorian has blown through the Myrtle Beach area. The flooding has receded, the wind and rain are gone, the cleanup has begun, and there’s nothing but blue skies ahead to welcome you back to Plantation Resort!
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we weathered Hurricane Dorian. With minor damages fixed and storm debris cleaned up, Plantation Resort is better than ever and we invite you to come stay with us!

Weather
Now that the storm has passed, we are experiencing beautiful blue skies and warm temperatures. Click here for the weather forecast for the next few days.
Be aware, those planning on driving here may find delays on the roadways. Please be safe and check local, county and state traffic information before traveling to the Myrtle Beach area. Here are some traffic information sources from the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) and from Horry County (the county where the Resort is located):

Beach Access
Our complimentary beach shuttles are running on schedule. But, if you are planning on spending a lot of time at the beach, you may want to delay your trip just a little bit because the beaches are messy and will take a few days to clean up.

Plantation Resort Services
Shuttle buses are back taking our guests to and from Surfside Beach.
The Breakfast Buffet is open.
That’s Amore – an amazing Italian dinner experience begins on Wednesday, 9/11 (scheduled for every Wednesday evening).
The Indoor Pool is open along with the fitness classes, work out room and day spa.
The Outdoor Pool and Lazy River areas are fully operational.
