Boardwalk Fright Nights
Every Friday and Saturday in October
Boardwalk Fright Nights is a month-long event located in the Boardwalk area of downtown Myrtle Beach featuring roaming live zombies, discounted rides and attractions and live music. The scary-good times run every Friday & Saturday night at dusk as the neighborhood transforms into the freaky-fun place to be for the Halloween season.

Ripleys Haunted Adventure
Days/Times Vary
Navigate your way through our dark corridors or you can save the world from the zombies during your journey. Do you dare to take a tour or do have what it takes to strike them down? The choice is yours! Tickets are good for one year. Children 8-11 must be accompanied by an adult. Due to its intense scary nature, children under 8 are not permitted.

Ripley’s Haunted Adventure

Ripley’s Haunted Adventure takes haunted houses to the next level. Live actors lurk behind every corner of this creepy renovated mansion, just waiting to “welcome” you to their home. That high pitched scream you hear…yea that’s you. But remember, you must be at least 6 years old to enter, if you dare!
Dr. Screams

A never before Apocalyptic Experience coming to you October 2019 from Dr. Screams. In the shadows of the woods in Myrtle Beach SC, comes the most terrifying interactive experience to date! Zombies, monsters, psychopathic serial killers lurk around every turn. You and your group need to be ready for the fright of your life.
Trunk or Treat at Fun Warehouse
October 24
Looking for somewhere to Trick or Treat with your kiddos? Check out Trunk or Treat at Fun Warehouse. This annual event will feature local businesses that pass out candy to kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes. Get ready for appearances from your favorite local mascots and characters, live entertainment and tons of fun. This family-friendly event is free.

Atalaya Fall Festival & Haunted House
October 25 – 26
This event involves two different haunted houses: a not-so-scary maze of “creepy” rooms and a more intense “Haunted Castle.” (The website warns that some special effects might be too scary for young children). For those looking for fright-free fun and games, there will be carnival games, crafts, spooky cartoons on the big screen, s’mores, and a bonfire. Admission is $10/adult, $7/children 6-15, and free for children 5 and under.
Barefoot Landing Boo-Fest
October 26
Dress up the kids and pets and come on out for some spooky Halloween fun! Registration for kids and pets costume contests begins at 11 am. Contests start at noon. Grab a bite to eat and come back for Hocus Pocus that will be shown at the Amphitheater at 7 pm. Don’t forget Trick or Treating takes place on Thursday, October 31st from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Strangest Things on The Deck
October 26
Venture into the world of the Upside Down on THE DECK during the STRANGEST THINGS 80s Themed Halloween Bash. The party starts at 7 pm & admission is FREE! Costumes are strongly encouraged – Dress as your favorite Stranger Things character or come head to toe in your go-to 80s apparel. A prize will be rewarded to the best costume of the night. Crawl into your scariest costume and enjoy live music, delicious local food available for purchase, street performers, carnival games and more fun for goblins of all ages. Enjoy lighted boat displays or enter the frighteningly fun costume contests.
Halloween Bonfire – La Belle Amie Vineyards
October 26
Enjoy an afternoon sipping wine, listening to live music, and relaxing by the fire at La Belle Amie Vineyard during their Halloween Bonfire event. Admission is $7. However, if you bring two canned/dry good food items, the admission is reduced by $2. For more information, call (843) 399-9463.

Children’s Imagination Walk
October 26
Let your imagination run wild during Brookgreen Gardens’ Imagination Walk. Kids are encouraged to wear their favorite costume. The afternoon includes a sculpture garden tour, a scavenger hunt, a walk through a labyrinth, crafts, and trick-or-treating. Participation is free with garden admission. The Market Common Local Ghosts, Historic Folk & Pirates Trolley Tour
October 29
Guests will board a trolley for a two-hour narrated tour that will take them from The Market Common in Myrtle Beach to Murrells Inlet, SC, where they will see Brookgreen Gardens, Atalaya—the fortress-like former beach home of the Huntingtons at what is now the state park that bears their name, and Murrells Inlet’s Historic Waterfront. While aboard, they will hear our area’s most beloved ghost stories, pirate tales and interesting accounts of historic figures who once called this area home.

Trick – or – Treat at Broadway at the Beach
October 31
The ghouls, goblins, ghosts, superheroes, and superstars will be making their way around Broadway at the Beach! Bring your little superheroes, ghosts, and characters to Broadway at the Beach and trick-or-treat at many sugar-laden hotspots. Join us as we light up the skies over Lake Broadway for a Fireworks Extravaganza sponsored by Helicopter Adventures beginning at 8 pm! (*Weather permitting)

Halloween on the MarshWalk
October 31
Eat, drink, and be SCARY! Festivities begin at 5 pm with Trick-or-Treating along the MarshWalk for the kids and includes a Children’s Costume Contest. Later, join in for grown-up fun with the Adult Costume Contest starting at 7 pm. Over $4,000 in cash and prizes will be given away to the best of the best!
