The Great Christmas Light Show

The Great Christmas Light Show is a park-wide lighted celebration that is sure to capture the true spirit of the season! The drive-through light show features over 1.7 million lights festively displayed along a 1.5-mile drive throughout the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. Over 400 magical light displays, some up to 70 feet tall, have been custom made for The Great Christmas Light Show. Visitors experience 14 enchanting animated figures and holiday scenes where lights come to life. After the journey through the light show, feel free to park your car and visit Santa’s Village where you can enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores, get an up close look at the lights on the Santa Express Train Ride, ice skate, experience the Go Ape lighted tree top adventure, and, of course, meet Santa!

See Brookgreen Gardens come to life amid the soft glow of more than 5,500 hand-lit candles and countless sparkling lights from 3-10 pm. The 4th Annual Snow Globe Festival is an indoor/outdoor event hosted by Black Water Middle School. Saturday, December 3rd from 11 am to 5 pm at Black Water Middle School. This is an event the entire family will enjoy!

Don’t miss the 2nd annual A Very Broadway Christmas at Broadway at the Beach. The day begins with the Ripley’s Attractions Myrtle Beach Holiday Parade at 11 am, then moves to Center Court for live entertainment, food and activities from 1 pm-4 pm. As the day turns to evening the Tree Lighting Celebration will begin at 6 pm with a Grand Finale of Fireworks over Lake Broadway at 8 pm.

It’s time to make your plans to attend The Market Common NEW YEAR’S EVE street party…A Southern Times Square! HTC will be streaming Times Square in NYC live beginning at 9 pm on the jumbo screen. They will also have their very own mirror ball drop here at The Market Common. To top off this very special night there will be fireworks at midnight! We will have human statues, mimes, glass blower, face painters, glitter tattoos and dancing in the streets. This is a family friendly event with inflatables and games so bring the kids!
